A neck knife is the smallest practical carry. Light enough to forget you are wearing it, useful enough to keep reaching for — and a quick, satisfying first build if you have never handled a blank before.
The extra 5 mm (0.2 in) of blade over our KN01 gives a little more cutting edge without changing how it carries. If you are choosing between the two, this is the one for opening boxes and food prep rather than pure emergency use.
Hardened stainless steel, ground and heat treated in advance. Rust resistance is the priority on a blade worn against the body, and this steel handles sweat without complaint.
