Terms of Service
These terms apply when you order from knifemakershop.com, operated from Istanbul, Türkiye. Placing an order means you accept them. We have kept them short and in plain English.
What We Sell
We sell knife making supplies: blade blanks, handle materials and related components for makers and hobbyists. Our blade blanks are semi-finished parts, not finished knives — they arrive hardened, ground and sharpened, without a handle, ready for you to complete.
Your Responsibility as the Buyer
Our products are supplied for knife making. Once they leave us, how they are imported, handled, worked and used is your responsibility.
- Local law. Rules on importing and owning bladed items vary by country and sometimes by region. Please check what applies where you live before ordering. We cannot advise on the law in your country and we are not responsible for goods held or refused by your customs authority.
- Safe handling. Our blanks arrive sharpened and hardened. Grinding, drilling and finishing hardened steel produces sparks, heat and airborne particles — use eye protection, respiratory protection and appropriate guarding. You are responsible for working safely.
- Finished knives. If you build knives from our blanks and sell or give them to others, the finished product is yours. Responsibility for its assembly, fitness and safety rests with you as its maker.
We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from the handling, modification, use or resale of our products.
How Our Blades Should and Should Not Be Used
Our blades are hardened tool and stainless steels intended for cutting. They are not pry bars, and they are not designed to be struck against materials harder than bone — metal, stone or masonry. Damage caused this way is normal use of the wrong kind, not a manufacturing defect, and is not covered.
Orders and Pricing
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the site and do not include import duties or taxes charged in the destination country. Prices can change at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we cannot ship to your destination. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund.
Product Descriptions
We describe our blades as accurately as we can: steel, hardness, thickness and dimensions. Because every blade is hand ground, small variations between individual pieces are normal and are not defects. Photographs show representative items — grind lines, satin finish and surface marks vary from blade to blade.
Custom and Bulk Orders
Custom work is produced to a technical drawing that we prepare and you approve. Minimum order is 50 pieces per design and lead time is typically 6–8 weeks from approval. Once you approve the drawing, production begins and the order cannot be changed or cancelled — so take your time at that stage. Full details are on our custom and wholesale page.

Intellectual Property
The blade designs, photographs and text on this site belong to us. You are welcome to build, use and sell knives made from our blanks — that is what they are for. Please do not copy our blade designs for manufacture, or reuse our photographs and product text in your own listings, without written permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update this page. The version in force is the one published here at the time you place your order.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
