Custom & Wholesale Knife Blade Blanks
We manufacture knife blade blanks to your own design, and supply established makers and retailers at wholesale pricing — the same process behind every blank in our catalogue.
We buy Böhler and Uddeholm steel directly from Voestalpine, laser cut it to our own drawings, and hand grind every blade on belt grinders with our own jigs. Selected full flat models are CNC ground. The finished blades then go back to Voestalpine for professional heat treatment — carried out by the mill that made the steel. That last step is what sets our blanks apart.
Blade Blanks Made to Your Design
Send us your design and we will produce it as a finished blank: profiled, professionally heat treated and hand ground, ready for you to fit a handle. This is the service most of our trade customers come for.
You don’t need a technical drawing
If you have a DXF file, send it over — we can review it quickly and move straight to quoting. If you don’t, that is no problem at all. Draw your blade on a sheet of white paper, photograph it from directly above, and send us the image. We will turn it into a professional technical drawing for you, free of charge, and confirm every dimension with you before anything is cut.
- Minimum order: 50 pieces per design
- Lead time: 6–8 weeks from approved drawing
- Heat treatment: carried out by Voestalpine, the mill that produces the steel
- Finish: hand ground
- Steels: N690, Elmax, M390, Vanax, Sleipner, AEB-L, 1.4116 and carbon tool steels
- Thickness: specified per order
