1.4116 Kiridashi Knife Blank - KKRD

A kiridashi is the Japanese marking and utility knife: single bevel, ground on the right side, made for scoring, carving and every small cut a folder handles badly.

1.4116 sharpens back on any stone and forgives a beginner's hand, which makes it a sensible first kiridashi build. Slightly thicker stock adds stiffness for marking and carving.
