A sandblasted finish hides scratches and kills glare. It also gives a grippy, matte surface that looks finished straight off the blank. A full tang knife blank, so the scales pin straight to the steel.

German 1.4116 trades ultimate hardness for toughness. It resists chipping and comes back to sharp quickly, which is exactly what a working outdoor knife needs.

Every blank starts as certified Voestalpine stock. We profile and hand grind it in our own workshop, then send it back to Voestalpine for professional heat treatment.
