4116 Full Tang Almazan Chef Knife Blank - KC01
The Almazan-style profile has become a modern classic among knife makers. Its dramatic tall blade and swept spine make an eye-catching build, and the wide face doubles as a scoop. The blade measures 180 mm, 300 mm overall.
1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) is the steel behind most German kitchen knives, and for good reason. It is tough, highly corrosion resistant and remarkably easy to sharpen — ideal for a first build or a knife that will see hard daily use.
Our process is deliberately simple: certified Voestalpine steel, hand grinding in our workshop, then professional heat treatment back at Voestalpine. That is why the hardness figures below are reliable.
