D2 Stonewash Knife Blank - DI07

Böhler K110 (D2) stonewash knife blank, ground and hardened to 61 HRC, 5 mm thick. Model D2-07: 125 mm blade, 245 mm overall, with a wide drop point blade and a handle with large oval and round lightening holes.

High flat ground, then stonewashed for a matte, low glare finish. Hand ground in our Istanbul workshop, professionally heat treated and sent sharpened (unsharpened on request).

D2 is a high carbon, high chromium tool steel with strong wear resistance and long edge life. It is not fully stainless, though it resists rust better than plain carbon steel, and the stonewash helps.
