Real G10 Micarta Knife Scales - Orange, Bookmatched Pair
G10 is fibreglass laminate under high pressure — the toughest handle material we stock and the one that simply does not care about weather. It shrugs off temperature swings, moisture, solvents and years of hard use without moving a fraction of a millimetre.
The orange runs through the full thickness in layers, so grinding the profile exposes the strata and produces a pattern unique to the shape you cut. Bookmatched from the same block, the two scales mirror each other once mounted.
The obvious choice for EDC, hunting, bushcraft and survival knives — anything that will get wet, cold or dropped and still has to work.
Note on the photos: the scales are shown wet. Water brings the colour up the way a finish or a polish will, but dry G10 reads slightly flatter until you take it up through the grits.
Tip: G10 is hard enough to blunt a saw blade quickly. Shape it on a belt grinder instead, and wear a mask — the dust is fibreglass.
