N690 Outdoor Knife Blank - N68

A general outdoor blade has to do everything: prepare tinder, process game, cut cord. This blank is built with that variety in mind. A full tang knife blank, so the scales pin straight to the steel.

Böhler N690 is the stainless most outdoor makers settle on. Cobalt and vanadium give it fine grain and real edge retention, and 17% chromium means it survives a wet pack.

We buy steel direct from Voestalpine, grind each blade by hand on the belt grinder, and return the blanks to Voestalpine for heat treatment done to spec.
