N690 Outdoor Knife Blank - N89

Outdoor work punishes a blade. Batoning, feathering, food prep and the occasional job a knife was never designed for — this profile is ground to take it. A full tang knife blank, so the scales pin straight to the steel.

This is Böhler's cobalt-alloyed stainless. In outdoor use it holds an edge through hard work and does not pit when the knife lives in a damp sheath.

The steel comes straight from Voestalpine. Profiling and grinding happen on our benches; hardening and tempering go back to the mill.

The tang is drilled and profiled, so handle work is the only step left. Scales, pins, epoxy — the knife is done in an evening.
