Sleipner Hatchet Blank - SHT03

Uddeholm Sleipner hatchet blank, ground and hardened to 61-62 HRC, 4.4 mm thick. This full tang hatchet is 295 mm overall with a 100 mm cutting edge, shaped with a large round cutout in the head, a slim straight handle with three pin holes and a lanyard hole at the butt.

Each head is hand ground on the belt grinder in our Istanbul workshop and heat treated at Voestalpine. It ships sharpened; ask if you want it unsharpened.

Sleipner is a tough, wear resistant tool steel with more chromium than plain carbon steel, so it takes knocks well and holds its edge. It is not stainless, so keep it oiled. Price is for one blank, no handle material included.
