Sleipner Knife Blank - S24

A hardened, ground blade blank ready for handle work. The heat treatment is done and the geometry is set — everything after this is yours.

Uddeholm Sleipner is a cold-work tool steel with high chromium content, so it resists staining better than ordinary carbon steel while hardening to 60-62 HRC.

The steel comes straight from Voestalpine. Profiling and grinding happen on our benches; hardening and tempering go back to the mill.
