Sleipner Knife Blank - S55

A hardened, ground blade blank ready for handle work. The heat treatment is done and the geometry is set — everything after this is yours. A full tang knife blank, so the scales pin straight to the steel.

A high-performance tool steel, Sleipner sits between carbon and stainless: harder and longer-lasting than most stainless, easier to live with than plain carbon.

Every blank starts as certified Voestalpine stock. We profile and hand grind it in our own workshop, then send it back to Voestalpine for professional heat treatment.
