Sleipner Puukko Knife Blank - S39

The puukko is Finland's contribution to knife design and still one of the most practical patterns ever drawn. Short, stiff, and shaped for carving. A traditional puukko with a hidden tang for a birch-bark or block handle.

Uddeholm Sleipner is a cold-work tool steel with high chromium content, so it resists staining better than ordinary carbon steel while hardening to 60-62 HRC.

Steel sourced from Voestalpine, hand ground by our team, then heat treated professionally at the mill. Every blank arrives at working hardness.
