The smaller of the pair, sized for a slim pocket knife or a neck carry. A wharncliffe has no belly at all, so the whole edge stays on the cutting board or the cardboard, and the point sits exactly where your thumb expects it.

Three millimetre pin holes keep the handle slim, which is the point of a knife this size.

Sleipner is a tool steel, not a stainless. It runs harder than anything stainless in this price range and holds an edge accordingly, but it wants drying after use and will take a patina with time — which most makers end up liking.
