4116 Short Paring Knife Blank
Short, stiff and controllable, this paring profile is made for in-hand work: turning vegetables, removing eyes and cores, and every small job a chef knife is too big for.
1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) is the steel behind most German kitchen knives, and for good reason. It is tough, highly corrosion resistant and remarkably easy to sharpen — ideal for a first build or a knife that will see hard daily use.
Our process is deliberately simple: certified Voestalpine steel, hand grinding in our workshop, then professional heat treatment back at Voestalpine. That is why the hardness figures below are reliable.
Specifications
Steel : 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) German Stainless Steel
